2019 Firecracker related injuries in Region VIII
DOH Regional (Regional Surveillance Unit) data show that there is no significant reduction of cases of firecracker related injuries as compared to the previous year (2018). Also, no major injuries were reported (amputation in last year noted). With this, only forty three cases were reported from December 21, 2018 to January 3, 2019.
